Hello,
Happy July! Happy Red, White, and Blue to all of you! Here's the latest update.
News:
We are so thankful for the work VSA Arts Tennessee continues to do. Can't wait to celebrate them this month!!
VSA Tennessee will be celebrating its 15th anniversary on Thursday, July 28 from 6-8pm at the Amberleaf at 112 Public Square in Gallatin. Music starts on both stages at 5:30 with a Mayor's Proclamation to kick off the event at 6pm. This is a free event with music, visual arts, interactive activities, video, and more. Come out and celebrate 15 years of VSA TN! Performers for this event include: Angela Mosley Alton, Drew Basham, Logan Blade, Wes Heydel, Daniel Janvrin, Elliott McClain, Lake Rise Place, Movement Connection, Tyler Samuel, Gregory Stallings, Amanda Stevens, VSA/Blair Dulcimer Choir, Kristen Wright. Art displays will feature many of VSA TN's past projects and artists. A featured art display will focus on Jalyn Weston, a young visual artist that grew up in the VSA TN art programs. In addition, there will be interactive art activities, refreshments, acknowledgements to past supporters, and video. |
Thoughts and Thanks:
Yesterday, after the storms, Morgan said “I want to see more rainbows.” I smiled and said, “Me too, Morgan. Me too!” I had been feeling a little gray this month, and came across some good tips in Healthguide.org. The link is shared in this month's blog.
